Much of the work featured here appears in round frames because it was produced as part of full dome planetarium shows. The round frames are a format rendered with a fish eye lens camera specifically used in full dome show production. This camera incorporates a 360 degree view of the virtual environment being rendered in each frame of animation and provides an immersive experience for planetarium audiences. In fact, some viewers even get motion sickness while viewing these shows.
